This year IMCW2013 (https://imcw2013.bilgiyonetimi.net) is taking place at the Strand Hotel in Limerick in Ireland September 4-6, 2013, with the theme “Beyond the Cloud: Information…Innovation…Collaboration…”
The program includes outstanding keynote speakers: Dr. Clifford Lynch, Executive Director of Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) will talk about cloud architectures and their use in cultural memory institutions; Marshall Breeding, Independent consultant and the author of “Cloud Computing for Libraries” (ALA TEchsource, 2012) will address how cloud computing enables deeper collaboration; and Christian Verstraete of Hewlett-Packard will emphasize the innovative character of cloud computing. In addition, the program includes contributed papers, short communications and workshops along with panel discussions on collaboration and intellectual property aspects of cloud computing. The proceedings of the symposium will be published by Springer under its CCIS series.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Clifford Lynch, Executive Director of the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI), will be the keynote speaker of the 4th International Symposium on Information Management in a Changing World to be held in Limerick, Ireland, from September 4 to 6, 2013. Dr. Lynch’s keynote address will be centred on the main theme of the symposium, “Beyond the Cloud: Information…Innovation…Collaboration…” He will address the opportunities and challenges introduced by the cloud computing, discuss its implications on information management and contemplate on how to design and develop innovative and collaborative information services beyond the cloud.
